The Amazon Fire HD 10 tablet has dropped to a new low of #79,900.

Amazon released new Fire HD 10 tablets at the end of last month, and it now appears that the business is holding a one-day closeout offer to clear down older models. The main item is the 64GB 2019 Fire HD 10, which costs #79,900 and is nearly half off. That’s even better than the #99,900 we saw on Prime Day in June, and given that the 2021 version of the tablet isn’t all that different, this is a nice opportunity to get one of the most competent Fire tablets for less.

Both the 2019 model and the most recent Fire HD 10 have 10.1-inch 1080p touchscreens, albeit the new version’s is 10% brighter, and both are powered by 2.0GHz octa-core processors. The maximum amount of built-in storage on each device is 64GB, however both have a microSD card slot for expansion. The 2019 model has a storage capacity of 512GB, whereas the new model has a storage capacity of 1TB. Both have a 12-hour battery life estimation and charge through USB-C.

The design and RAM are arguably the most significant distinctions between the two. The 2021 model offers a more refined design with shorter bezels, as well as new colors and combinations such as the “Productivity” model.

which includes a keyboard case and a year of Microsoft 365. Furthermore, the old model featured 2GB of RAM, whereas the current model has 3GB.

When comparing the new Fire HD 10 to its predecessor, the added RAM will most likely make the biggest difference in the overall experience. The 2019 Fire HD 10 is an excellent budget tablet if you’re willing to forego the extra gigabyte of memory and other minor updates.
